Did you know that Idaho ranks LAST in the country in per-student spending behind all states and the District of Columbia?

BCEF puts students FIRST. With your support, we’re committed to ensuring every student has access to the opportunities, resources, and equitable education they need to succeed.

Blaine County is a wonderful place to call home, but the cost of living here is among the highest in Idaho and ranks near the top nationwide for essentials like food and housing.

Families must spend well above the national average just to cover basic needs. As socio-economic challenges grow, the strain on already limited public resources continues to increase.

In addition, economically disadvantaged students in Blaine County score, on average, 20% lower on standardized tests than their peers.

BCEF does not receive any federal, state, or local government funding. All our programs are made possible by the generosity of individuals, foundations, and businesses who believe in our mission.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so your donations are tax-deductible. If you live in Idaho, you can donate monetary contributions to certain educational and youth organizations while reducing the amount of Idaho income tax you owe. This is a tax credit you can take even if you don’t itemize. Click Here to learn more about Idaho tax deductions.
